Turtle Inn
+
Turtle Inn is a true labor of love. Francis and Eleanor Coppola acquired this beachside refuge in 2001. When it was swept out to sea by Hurricane Iris, the Coppolas turned disaster into triumph and created this magnificent resort, now ranked among the best in Central and South America. The 25-room seafront hideaway combines natural wonders with luxury. Accommodations are in thatched cottages, decorated with handcrafted Balinese furnishings and naturally cooled by the ever-present sea breezes. Lavish amenities and unique features such as Japanese baths and private walled gardens boost the exotic feel. With its friendly, attentive staff, three restaurants, two infinity swimming pools, rejuvenating spa and idyllic seafront setting, Turtle Inn is a perfect stress-relieving getaway and the gateway to a wealth of exciting adventures.
