This river has been officially declared a Wild and Scenic River, and offers some of the finest white water in Latin America, winding deep inside of one of Costa Rica’s most impressive primordial rainforests. Turtle Nesting Tour

The Atlantic Green Turtles have been coming to the Caribbean beaches of Tortuguero for centuries to lay thier eggs. When the baby turtles grow to adulthood they return to the same beach where they were hatched. For hours they lay their eggs, then cover them carefully and make their way back to the sea. A full day of adrenaline in the steep canyon of the turbulent Rio Blanco where you will zipline, rappel, rock climb, ride Tarzan swings and cross hanging bridges… all before lunch! Afterward, there is river tubing and horseback riding to the volcanic mud pools of Rincon de la Vieja for a dip in the thermal springs.
