Caye Caulker Day Sail & Snorkel

Begin your day by sailing on a 36-foot Athena Catamaran to Hol Chan Marine Reserve & Shark Ray Alley. You will enjoy a guided snorkel through the Marine Reserve and neighboring Shark Ray Alley. Once back on board you can rinse off with fresh water and settle in for the sail to Caye Caulker. When we reach Caye Caulker you will have time to  have lunch on your own & explore our quaint sister island. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely sail back to San Pedro.

Your day begins sailing north to Tres Cocos for our first snorkel. Then we sail on to Mexico Rocks for our second snorkel stop where you will encounter larger coral heads & smaller fish. After snorkeling you can rinse off with fresh water & sit back to enjoy the sail to Habaneros. Your guides will then prepare a delicious BBQ.

Robles Beach BBQ & Snorkel

First stop of the day is Mexico Rocks where you will encounter larger coral heads and smaller fish. After a second snorkel stop at Basil Jones we head to Robles  where you can stroll the deserted beaches or relax in a hammock while our guide prepares a tasty BBQ with fish, roasted potatoes, coconut rice, flour tortillas and  brownies.

Manatee Watch & Goff's Caye BBQ

Start the day by making our way to Swallow Caye where we will view the endangered West Indian Manatee in their natural habitat from the boat. Then we head  on to Goff’s Caye to snorkel the magical reef. Our guides will then prepare a delicious Beach BBQ for you while you relax on the pristine white beaches. After  lunch we snorkel with the Sharks & Rays. Before we return to San Pedro we make a stop in Caye Caulker for you to browse.

Bacalar Chico Snorkel & BBQ

Bacalar Chico is a reserve on the northern part of Ambergris Caye that includes reef as well as land. In the morning we make our way along the leeward side of  the island to the ranger station in the reserve, where you will have a chance to see the flora on the northern part of the island. We then head out to snorkel  Barracuda Reef and Rocky Point before we head to Robles, where our guides will prepare lunch for you. After lunch explore the deserted beaches, relax in a  hammock or chill out in the tree house

Sea's D Day Sail

Explore the pristine waters and white sandy beaches of the leeward side of the island on a 58 foot beach house boat complete with two bathrooms, a full kitchen and air conditioned lounge areas. The boat also has two outdoor decks with comfortable seating, a water slide, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing gear and water floaties for plenty of water play. Lunch is grilled chicken with peppers and onions, cilantro rice, black beans, tortillas and a variety of sauces and toppings. Beer, rum punch and signature mojitos are served beginning with lunch. At about 3pm you head back while relaxing on the top deck and sipping a cold drink or indulging in homemade brownies and cookies. Sunset Cruise

Departure for the sunset cruise is 4:45pm from the Seaduced By Belize dock at the back Marina. As we meander through the leeward lagoons you can watch the  sunset from either the small first floor porch or the expansive second floor deck. You will  make your way back to the dock at 7:00 pm under the romantic starlight.

Lamanai Maya Ruins & Jungle River

Enjoy a delightful continental breakfast as we make our way to the mainland by boat. Along the way the guides point out the rich variety of flora & fauna. Once on the mainland we board a private bus or van that takes us to Tower Hill. Upon arrival at Tower Hill we board another boat that takes us down the New River to Lamanai. As we make our way down the river we encounter birds, monkeys & crocodiles. At Lamanai we take a break for lunch, served under the canopy of the jungle; followed by a guided tour of the ruins that perch on the water’s edge.

We begin our day winding through the Northern River where we encounter a rich variety of plants and indigenous animals. Once at Bomba Village you will have a few minutes to browse the local woodcarving shops before boarding the private bus that will take us to Altun Ha. Once at the site our guide will give you an informative tour of the ruins. After you have worked up a healthy appetite exploring the ancient Maya site we head to Maruba Jungle Spa where you have time to have lunch on your own and book a spa treatment if you so choose.

Cave Tubing & Jungle Zipline

This exciting day begins as we make our way to the main land and up the Belize River. As we ride through the river you will encounter wildlife like crocodiles, iguanas & manatees while we serve a continental breakfast.  Next we board a private bus & make our way to Caves Branch. Once there it’s time to “Zip” through eight levels in the jungle. After lunch we head to the caves, where you will put on a head lamp, hop in your individual tube and float your way through the clear, cool waters of the underground tunnel system marveling at the beautiful stalactite formations. Upon exiting the cave system, you will float downstream under a majestic canopy of trees lining the riverbank until you reach the beginning of the walking trail where the tour originated.

Jaguar Preserve Hike

The Cockscomb Basin Jaguar Preserve is the world’s only preserve of its kind, covering an area of 150 square miles. Through Dr. Alan Rabinowitz’s ecological study conducted between 1982 and 1984, it was observed that the Cockscomb Basin contained the highest density of jaguars ever recorded. Therefore in 1984, the area was initially declared a forest reserve with a “No Hunting” ordinance to protect the large jaguar population and other wildlife that make this place their home. It was later declared a wildlife sanctuary on February 26, 1986. Once in the park, we will hike well established trails through the rainforest. Along the way you may see evidence of Jaguars and other mammals such as Howler Monkeys, Tapir or Peccaries (Wild pigs). The preserve is also haven for over 300 bird species. You will also have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim at one of the waterfalls’ pool.

Sitee River Birds & Wildlife Boat Tour

Depart for the beautiful and exotic Sittee River for a motor boat ride through the exotic flora and fauna that is embedded at the river’s edge. Jungle Zipline & River Tubing Adventure

Hop into a comfortable van and take an hour drive down the scenic Southern Highway until you arrive at the Bocawina Zipline where you will enjoy the incredible views that nature has to offer. Once fitted with your harness and safety equipment you will be guided through a Short trail and soar 500 ft above the South Stann Creek River. Cross a suspended bridge and experience a panoramic view when zipping half a mile across on all 7 lines . Then go on a 2 minute walk where you will be provided with some inner tubes to float down the Stann Creek River and feel the refreshing water while listening to the amazing sounds that the jungle provides to you, along with a guide who will point out all the different life as you go along. Mayflower Waterfall Hiking

The tour starts with a 30 minute drive to the Mayflower National Park. Once at the park, you will wander through the partially excavated ancient city of Mayflower. We then head into the rainforest to Antelope Falls, one of the park’s breathtaking waterfalls and enjoy a refreshing swim in a large pool at the top of the waterfall.

Monkey River Wildlife Expedition

Explore the wide diversity of wildlife on the Monkey River in Southern Belize. Enjoy an hour long drive on the Southern Highway to Placencia Village. From here, your guide will take you on a boat ride down the southern coast and then inland and up the Monkey River, where you’ll view the beautiful flora and fauna of the broadleaf-subtropical forest. Iguanas dive into the water, troops of Howler monkeys race through the forest, birds dart from tree to tree, crocodiles sun themselves on the river banks and you may even see a manatee. You will also stop for a hike, where your guide will point out medicinal plants and other wildlife, including birds, insects, snakes, monkeys, and if lucky, maybe a tapir or an elusive jaguar. After your adventure, you’ll return to the remote village of Monkey River to share lunch and the friendly hospitality of this small village, home to about 200 residents- mostly fishermen.

St. Herman's Cave Tubing Adventure

This tour begins with a drive up the scenic Hummingbird Highway to the Blue Hole National park. Once there you will be introduced to your guide who will lead your adventure. After a 20-minute hike through the jungle you come to the entrance of the St Herman’s Cave. Enter the exciting world of rivers disappearing into the underworld as you float on inner tubes with only your headlamp to light your way. Enjoy floating past side windows that filter the jungle light through the mist as you swirl around stalagmites jutting from the river and stalactites looming from above.

South Water Reef Snorkeling Adventure

Barrier Reef Light Tackle Sport Fishing

Reef fishing is the most popular fishing trip done by visitors to Belize. There is much action reef fishing and most of it is done inside the reef, channels and within the cayes. The Belize coastline offers the ideal ecosystem for a wide variety of marine life. Snappers, Barracudas, Jacks and Groupers are some of the common catches on a day trip. Your guide will catch sardines with his cast net for bait. Spin casting and trolling are the most common techniques used by local fishing guides. Minimum 2 persons. Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave

The Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) Cave tour begins with a trek that includes wading across three rivers. After 45 minutes, you arrive at the “Cave of the Stone Sepulcher,” one of the most impressive caves in the Maya lowlands. Located in the heart of the Belizean rainforest, in the Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve, this cave was sacred to the Maya of Belize, who began to use the entrance during the Early Classic period. In later years, the Maya traveled deeper into the cave to conduct their ceremonies. The ATM cave system consists of a series of chambers ending in a large cathedral, where sacrificial ceremonies once took place. Here lie those individuals sacrificed to the gods of the underworld, which was known as Xibalba (pronounced shi-bal-ba). Visitors to ATM have the opportunity to travel into the past and witness a living museum, where skeletal remains and artifacts can be viewed in their original context.

Cave Tubing & Ziplining

Begin the cave tubing part of this adventure with a 1-mile trek through subtropical trails, wade across a shallow portion of the river, and pass through two caves before reaching a stunning lagoon surrounded by steep limestone walls. Along the way, your guide will point out various exotic flora and fauna native to Belize. Float on an inner tube along the cool waters, illuminated by your headlamp. You will be gently pushed by the current or led by your guide into two large chambers—both impressive sanctuaries used by the Maya for sacrificial rituals. Plunge into darkness and listen to the sounds of the cascading waterfalls and bubbling rapids. Upon exiting the caves, continue floating along the jungle-lined river for approximately 30 minutes before returning to the starting point.
Ziplining takes you soaring through the subtropical jungle canopy from treetop to treetop, giving you a bird’s-eye view of the rainforest below. A thrilling adventure, there are five runs at heights ranging up to 80 feet, culminating in rappelling down the last tree to the ground for that final adrenaline rush.  Cave tubing and ziplining can be done separately as half-day tours.

Xunantunich Maya Ruins

The ancient Maya ruins of Xunantunich (“Maiden of the Rock,” pronounced shoe-nan-too-nitch) are accessed by a short crossing of the Mopan River on a hand-cranked chain ferry. Held within the Belizean rainforest, this site includes Maya plazas, palaces, and temples, as well as a modern museum. The hills were first occupied between 400 and 200 BC, though it wasn’t until 600 AD that Xunantunich was used as a ceremonial site—making the entire settlement some 1,400 years old. Your expert guide will explain in great detail the culture and beliefs of the Maya, and you will see the ancient ball court where warriors often lost their heads whether they were victors or losers! From atop the ruins, you can take in a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The climb is taken slowly and with caution, and the rewards are well worth the effort.This tour can also be done on horseback.

Barton Creek Cave

You arrive at Barton Creek Cave after an enjoyable drive across rivers, jungle trails, and orange orchards, and through the Mennonite community of Barton Creek; be sure to smile and wave at the horse-drawn buggies. Hidden within this small community are the remnants of an ancient Maya civilization, silently waiting to be explored in the cool, dark, watery underground caverns of Barton Creek Cave. The site was a center for ritualistic activities, including human sacrifices, fertility rites, and bloodletting. Stretching nearly two 2 miles underground, this ancient wonder can be explored only by canoe. Drift along and marvel at the glittering stalactites and stalagmites, some 50 feet in length. The cave is littered with the eerie remains of human bones, centuries-old clay pots (some in perfect form), and tiny remnants of Maya artifacts. If you dare, take a plunge in the cold underground river for a truly incredible experience.

Crystal Cave

Crystal Cave is one of the most exhilarating caves in the region. The initial climb through lush rainforest is steep and heart pumping. After a 60-minute hike, you arrive at the entrance of the cave; here, the real fun begins. You will descend up to 600 feet (183 meters) into a stunning cave system. Pick your way along sheer rock faces and slide down mud ramps. Littered with crystal stalagmite and stalactite formations, the chamber called the “cathedral” is mind-blowing. If you are up for this physically demanding excursion, it will be a high point of your caving experiences in the Cayo district.

Tikal Maya Ruins

Tikal (“City of Echoes”) is the largest known city remaining from the ancient Maya civilization and was considered the greatest metropolis in the Maya kingdom. Situated in Guatemala’s largest protected area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it holds ruins comprising over 3,000 astounding structures set in 21 square miles. On the ride to Tikal in Guatemala, you will be able to might see wild pigs, exotic birds in flight, and Maya dressed in traditional clothing and carrying oversized water pots on their heads. At Tikal, you’ll be met by an expert Guatemalan tour guide, who will share extensive information about every aspect of Maya life as it existed from before 1000 BC until it fell after 1000 AD. Take a gentle amble through the rainforest’s primary growth and hear the famous howler monkeys. Sightings of spider monkeys as well as toucans and other exotic birds are also possible.
